We are very grateful to our key partners who have worked with Youth Dance England to shape the U.Dance performance programme.
The Youth Sport Trust is a registered charity with a simple mission: to build a brighter future for all young people through physical education (PE) and school sport. Our main objective is to increase young people’s participation and enjoyment of PE and school sport, and through this improve their life chances.
The Specialist Schools and Academies Trust aims to give practical support to transforming secondary education in England by building a world – class network of innovative, high performing secondary schools in partnership with business and the wider community. We are driven by our principle of "by schools for schools".
The National Dance Teachers Association (NDTA) is the leading subject association representing and supporting dance in schools.
We lobby for the place of dance in the curriculum and seek to ensure that all children and young people in the United Kingdom have equal access to a high quality dance education.
U.Dance is funded by Arts Council England, Department for Education's Music and Dance Scheme and the Department for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport.
